Disguise Cosmetics was started by 3 Indian scientists, Shivangi Shah, Desiree Pereira, Lakshay Mohindroo with the mission to create products that are tools to experiment, explore, and express the many faces of you. The products are designed to be comfortable allowing you to be free to be who you want to be. This journey began in 2018 with 2 women at the helm.

“Our driving force at Disguise is creating the best quality products designed for Indian skin. We decided the best way to do this is to be cruelty-free and never test our products on animals. We're proud to be one of the first, homegrown PETA-approved vegan and cruelty-free brands in India. After all, it’s important to be kind to all kinds” says Desiree Pereira.

We create cosmetics that celebrate real women who can't be defined by labels. Driven by the need to experiment, we look to once again redefine beauty experiences as India's first indie makeup brand. Bogged down by the pressure of the conventional definition of 'beauty', we set out on a journey to discover what beauty means to us in its true, raw, imperfect, and fun form. This independence allows us to create honest products for real people.
